init: PANIC: segmentation violation ...

hello everybody,

while running kernel 2.2.5 i noticed /var/log/messages full of this
error:

Oct 27 06:34:12 xenie init: PANIC: segmentation violation at 0x808b123!
sleeping for 30 seconds.
Oct 27 06:35:12 xenie last message repeated 2 times

and it goes on and on ... can someone please tell me, what is going on?
