what the heck still needs /proc/pci? I haven't had /proc/pci enabled
in any 2.1 or 2.2 kernels I built for my alpha. Am I missing something?

icarus.com % cat /proc/pci
cat: /proc/pci: No such file or directory
icarus.com % uname -a
Linux icarus.com 2.2.13pre17 #1 Sat Oct 16 15:37:41 PDT 1999 alpha unknown

icarus.com % lspci
