hi all-

This is just plain strange.

The very first time I tried to build 2.2.13 I got a corrupt
include/linux/modversions.h. I backup-up the directory, then did a make
distclean and started over (several times), but can't make it happen
again.

the setup:

* RH 6.0 based 2.2.11-ac3 on a K6, 64mb
* used: make xconfig
* changed: Makefile macro: MAKE = make ----> MAKE = make -j2
* issued: make dep && make clean && make -j2 bzImage
* gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314/Linux (egcs-1.1.2 release) [came
with RH 6.0)

compile errored-out due to modversions.h looking like this: (note line
33)

#ifndef _LINUX_MODVERSIONS_H
#define _LINUX_MODVERSIONS_H
#include <linux/modsetver.h>
#include <linux/modules/adb.ver>
#include <linux/modules/af_ax25.ver>

#include <linux/modules/wanmain.ver>
#include <linux/modules/zftape_syms.ver>
#include <linux/modules/zorrosyms.ver>

ux/modules/zorrosyms.ver>
#endif

I have never encountered any filesystem errors on this particular
machine before.

'just posted this in case somebody else sees it as well....
