hrmmm... there's 8 of the 'Vendor:...' messages. makes me think
that maybe the drive seems to be responding to all 8 possible
target ids. I've seen that happen on occasion with one or
more of a) bad termination, b) bad cable, c) marginally bad
or failing HBA or drive controllers...

bottom line, I would check for hardware problems...
