"nfsroot=x.x.x.x:/root" is killed by linker magic

Guys,

we used to have this useful kernel argument "nfsroot=",
it was killed when we switched to the "linker magic" scheme.
Does anyone care to restore it? Or should we forget about
it and use DHCP to pass a root location?

Thanks,
