When booting with pre14 and 15 i get module_reauest [net-pf-1] cant
fork error 11

with pre 15 first compile depmod -a gives ;

/lib/modules/2.2.13pre15/net/ethertap.o: unresolved symbol(s)
/lib/modules/2.2.13pre15/misc/sch_teql.o: unresolved symbol(s)
/lib/modules/2.2.13pre15/misc/sch_tbf.o: unresolved symbol(s)
/lib/modules/2.2.13pre15/misc/sch_sfq.o: unresolved symbol(s)
/lib/modules/2.2.13pre15/misc/sch_red.o: unresolved symbol(s)
/lib/modules/2.2.13pre15/misc/sch_prio.o: unresolved symbol(s)
/lib/modules/2.2.13pre15/misc/sch_csz.o: unresolved symbol(s)
/lib/modules/2.2.13pre15/misc/sch_cbq.o: unresolved symbol(s)
/lib/modules/2.2.13pre15/misc/af_packet.o: unresolved symbol(s)

second compile after adding CONFIG_FILTER for DHCP;

/lib/modules/2.2.13pre15/misc/rose.o: unresolved symbol(s)
/lib/modules/2.2.13pre15/misc/netrom.o: unresolved symbol(s)
/lib/modules/2.2.13pre15/misc/ax25.o: unresolved symbol(s)
/lib/modules/2.2.13pre15/misc/af_packet.o: unresolved symbol(s)

Now i deleted all modules from the /lib/modules/2.2.13pre15 before
the second attempt, so no stale moduoes were left there, did a
distclean inbetween both compiles.

No doubt i could be doing somethig wrong, but what i dont know.

Help would be apprciated.

Alan, that locking up after exiting X has gone which i reported in
2.2.11/12 but pre14 and 15 leaves me with a line at the bottom of
the screen in th console, its about 1 milimeter and has red spots in
it. Video card is a matrox millenium 11.

Compiled with.
