with maxcpus=1 the machine not crashes
(did hdparm -t /dev/hda & hdparm -t /dev/hdc & hdparm -t /dev/hde &
hdparm -t /dev/hdg about 20 times)
and turning raid on, also works ok (fsck it etc.)
