I sometimes get this message from 2.2.10 kernel:
hda: drive_cmd: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
hda: drive_cmd: error=0x04 { DriveStatusError }
The kernel is patched with 2.2.10 ide patch from kernel.org
controllers are SiS-5571(Asus SP97V) and ALi15x3 (GigaByte 5AA). I enabled
UDMA on them with 'hdparm -d 1 /dev/hda'. When I tried 'hdparm -tT
/dev/hda' I got the above error.
harddisks are
'hda: QUANTUM FIREBALL SE2.1A, 2014MB w/80kB Cache, CHS=1023/64/63,
UDMA(33)' according to boot messages.
I don't always get the message...just sometime.
Any ideas?
