My logo-select patch comes with a modified version of the ppm2logo.c
program. The patch can be found on the Linux Kernel Patch Archive
(http://linux-patches.rock-projects.com/). The description is on

http://linux-patches.rock-projects.com/v2.2-f/logo-select.html

A version for the Kernel 2.2.11 is part of the ROCK Linux Distribution
(http://linux.rock-projects.com/) - but I'm not sure if it applies to
a clean 2.2.11 kernel. It can be found as 60-logo-select-2.2.11a.patch
on
http://linux.rock-projects.com/rock-src-1.2.0/misc/linux/

There is also a GIMP Plug-In for creating Linux Logo files. It comes with
a Script-Fu Interface I wrote. You can find it at

http://registry.gimp.org/detailview.phtml?plugin=Linux+Logo
