Hmmm...

Just downloaded pre-patch-2.3.13-6.gz and applied it to a fresh
2.3.12 source tree. Compiling gets the following errors:

] gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/u/src/linux-2.3.13/include -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe -fno-strength-reduce -DCPU=686 -c -o 3c59x.o 3c59x.c
] 3c59x.c: In function `vortex_scan':
] 3c59x.c:660: structure has no member named `base_address'
] 3c59x.c:639: warning: `ioaddr' might be used uninitialized in this function
] make[3]: *** [3c59x.o] Error 1
] make[3]: Leaving directory `/u/src/linux-2.3.13/drivers/net'
] make[2]: *** [first_rule] Error 2
] make[2]: Leaving directory `/u/src/linux-2.3.13/drivers/net'
] make[1]: *** [_subdir_net] Error 2
] make[1]: Leaving directory `/u/src/linux-2.3.13/drivers'
] make: *** [_dir_drivers] Error 2

Uniprocessor build on a Pentium system.
