fat support in 2.3.7

I can't compile DOS fs support in 2.3.7 kernel.
In 2.3.0 -- 2.3.6 all is ok but since 2.3.7 gcc
says something like "generic_readpage is undefined here"
while compiling fs/fat/file.c.
If i'm turning off the VAT support then all goes well.
Can you hint me what is it ?
