Hello Gerard, Yes the device is a Seagate OEM'd to Sun with
Sun's Prom . The ID is (Oem'd to)SUN(Approx. size)0424 MB's
IE: SUN0424 . All drives that sun oem's have this style of
ID . If you had a sparc you could fire up Sloaris & do a
format command & type a 'T' command (IE: type ) the formatter
would show you all the known SUNXXXX types . Hth, JimL
