Rediffed agains 2.3.9-pre3 - ftp.math.psu.edu/pub/viro/smp-patch-12.gz

Nothing new, fixes for select()/close() and do_load_aout_binary()/close()
races and for foo_mmap() (missing semaphores) went to the main tree now.

Caffeine low, shutting down...
