My binaries are in imladris.2001ad.net:/pub/random/grub-0.5

cat stage1 stage2 | dd of=/dev/fd0

Boot off that floppy, and if that doesn't give you a prompt, get back to me
because someone's probably attempted to recompile them since I installed it.
