There are :-). Al Viro & I have been bouncing patches around for a few
days now, spotting bugs in each others code and the code which already
exists. The patch that exists on my website has the problem that it
does not allow the remounting of filesystems that do not have a device
associated with them. The current proposed solution introduces a new
flag, MS_MOVE which indicates that the filesystem should be moved to a
new mountpoint. I'm still unhappy with the current patch as it feels
too complex.
I'm likewise not entirely content with the initrd special case and want
to improve it. I'm thinking hard at this point.
