devfs is an extremely clean solution to a problem. Im just not 100% sure
its the right solution or the right problem. Its certainly in the right
ballpark

I believe richard has stated that his intent was to provide the
infrastructure, and that he has no objections to changing details
like namespace.
so in view of that, what issues are there that need to be resolved
for devfs to be a candidate for inclusion into the kernel?
