Sorry for not answering earlier...

I applied your patch and remade the msp3400 module and the first oops
disappeared. The second one still remains:

Same as yesterday (I did not recompile the kernel, after all - only
modules). After this, booting hangs. I kill all processes with SysRq
and it then hangs again in dhcpcd. I kill that too and it gets to a
login... but with no network.
