I just tried 2.2.8 on a Quad Xeon with 1Gig Ram and got the following starnge
/proc behavior:
when i want to start xosview with network traffic on (rel 1.7.1) i got the
following:
www:~ # xosview -int +net&
www:~ # Can not open file : /proc/sys/kernel/osrelease
[2]+ Exit 1 xosview -int +net
the long list of /proc/sys/kernel shows the following
www:~ # ll /proc/sys/kernel/

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 May 12 07:03 printk

but when i do a tab in the bash on /proc/sys/kernel/os
i got
osre ostype
starnge ?????
This dont occour on 2.2.7
any hints welcome
