Er, what? That's less than half the bandwidth of a good
top-of-the-line SCSI disk these days; look at the spec sheets for
something like a Seagate Cheetah -- the spec sheet at
http://www.seagate.com/disc/pdf/cheetah18_36.pdf
claims a transfer rate of 18-28 Mbytes/sec.
