Thanks for the tip. I just tried it and it makes no difference.
I put some extra checks in smbfs, but can't find anything wrong with
it.The odd log entries I was getting seem to be a syslogd/klogd problem as
I was getting:
Mar 3 16:31:07 shawc syslogd: Cannot glue message parts together
ATM I think memory is getting trapmpled somewhere, but I haven't a clue
where:-(.
