Hello!

I have problems using pre9 and ghostscript, although I think this is not
gs-related:

I do a
strace /usr/bin/gs -sDEVICE=ljet4 -sPAPERSIZE=a4 -sOutputFile=>(cat - )
- < ~kurt/netscape.ps 1> /dev/null 2> fehler

and I get:

2.0.36 & 2.2.0-pre6:
execve("/usr/bin/gs", ["/usr/bin/gs", "-sDEVICE=ljet4",
"-sPAPERSIZE=a4", "-sOutputFile=/dev/fd/63", "-"], [/* 48 vars */]) = 0
[...]
open("/dev/fd/63", O_WRONLY|O_CREAT|O_TRUNC, 0666) = 3

2.2.0-pre9: (Uups, I don't have the logfile with redirection, only with
given file, but this doesn't matter!)
execve("/usr/bin/gs", ["/usr/bin/gs", "-sDEVICE=ljet4",
"-sPAPERSIZE=a4", "-sOutputFile=/dev/fd/63", "/home/kurt/netscape.ps"],
[/* 51 vars */]) = 0
[...]
open("/dev/fd/63", O_WRONLY|O_CREAT|O_TRUNC, 0666) = -1 ENOENT (No such
file or directory)

I have to leave for some hours now, but will try this against the other
pre-patches to see which one did introduce it.

System is SuSE 6.0, glibc, AMD K6-2 300, 128 MB RAM, SCSI

Please reply via EMail, too, as I am not subscriben. This mail did not
go to the master, as he asked for.
