running 2.2.0-final for the first night, a similar problem shows up:
for the first time I got the following mail from a cron job
running makewhatis:
/usr/sbin/makewhatis: /dev/fd/62: No such file or directory
/usr/sbin/makewhatis: /dev/fd/62: No such file or directory
/usr/sbin/makewhatis: /dev/fd/62: No such file or directory
/usr/sbin/makewhatis: /dev/fd/62: No such file or directory
/usr/sbin/makewhatis: /dev/fd/62: No such file or directory
/usr/sbin/makewhatis: /dev/fd/62: No such file or directory
/usr/sbin/makewhatis: /dev/fd/62: No such file or directory
I'm using gcc-2.7.2.1 with SusE 5.3. this didn't happen before
(up to pre4, haven't tested pre5-pre8).
