Firt comes a successfull "modprobe parport_probe" with an EPSON
Stylus Color 300 printer ( that doesn't work yet due to ghostscript, but
this is another sad history... ) Next I plugged my zip , rmmod'ed any
paralell port related modules and try to mount /mnt/zip

Same problem ocurrs in 2.1.132 kernel version.

I'll try to investigate them. At this moment only tested at home, so I have to
look for another victim... perhaps is a motherboard problem ( intel 540STX .
very old... ). Anyway no problem in test any idea you can give me
