Most of the cards XF86_FBDev supports (remember its not X86 origins) can
only be accelerated vertical off tall buildings.

FBDev is the native driver for my MacII for example. It supports basically
every feature the card has. In the PC world it is a stop gap for folks forced
to use Vesa 2.0 fb.
