I created them myselves some time ago. (There was a package to to that, but
I don't have it's name in mind.) I think there was an option to tell the
EPROM when to boot: On BIOS init or after. I configured them to not allow
floppy boot, but I don't know whether I checked that. I will do that. It
would be too easy to put a packet sniffer on a DOS disk. It would be still
possible to plug in a laptop, of course, as the network cables are freely
accessible. And while root always uses ssh, I also don't want innocent users
which don't to loose their account.

 There is  something  frustrating  about  the quality  and  speed  of  Linux
 development.  I.e. the quality  is too high  and the speed  is too high, in
 other words,  I  can implement  this XXXX feature,  but I bet  someone else
 has already done it and is just about to release his patch to Linus soon...
