Problems w/ 2.1.131-ac7

A quick note on some (minor) problems I've had with 2.1.131-ac7

- make xconfig is broken, there's a syntax error in the tcl routine that
writes the config out. I tried fixing it, but tcl didn't give me a line
number that worked. :( and my tcl syntax parsing abilities are rather
poor.

If this isn't instantly repeatable elsewhere, let me know and I'll
follow up with details on my version of tcl etc (it's a RH 5.0 system,
for the most part)

- Once compiled, OSS-full for UP 2.1.131 refused to install, failing the
compatibility checks. Kernel was compiled CONFIG_SMP=no (or whatever
make menuconfig set it to) Last time I saw this happen, it's because I
had compiled a SMP kernel, and then recompiled in the same tree a UP
(commented out SMP #def) kernel. I fixed this last time by re-installing
the kernel sources from scratch, and then commenting out the SMP def in
the Makefile before all else - but with the long-awaited
SMP-flag_in-config provided by ac7, I wonder if it really is UP-clean
throughout.

Or maybe the ac7 patch changed whatever symbols that OSS was expecting
to see as 2.1.131 identifiers.

Alan, what info do you need to track this down?
