I love to use linux boot disks for hardware diagnostics. I suppose it's a
matter of style, but after a while, you get addicted to seeing all that
good information on the screen. When I first saw linux boot, however, I
was expecting it to crash any minute! That's conditioning from seeing too
many "Fatal Exception" errors from other operating systems.
