When I first saw that subject, I got a serious flashback -- I thought
it said "Stringy Floppy problems". I haven't seen an Exatron Stringy
Floppy for nigh on fifteen years. And I hope I never do again.

<OLD CODGER ALERT>

For those of you not blessed with a TRS-80 history: The Stringy Floppy
was not a floppy at all. It was a continuous tape loop (a la the old
eight-track tapes) about three millimeters wide, in a package about
the dimensions of a business card. It was clever, cute, and
relatively cheap compared to the real floppies. But it was also very
vulnerable to younger brothers who like pulling tape loops out to see
how long they are. :-/

Stringy Floppy. *shudder*
