System Freezes with 2.1.131 (+ac4)

I'm getting 100% lockups that are 100% reproducable with 2.1.131. The
single message that occurs before this is:

neko kernel: eth0: Interrupted while interrupts are masked! isr=0x2
imr=0x0.

The only way I can seem to trigger this is to use Pine inside an Xterm
from another machine (rsh neko xterm -e pine). I just switch folders real
fast and eventually it will lock up [ any chance there is a contest
between IDE and network? ].

No SysRq, no ctrl-alt-del. Just the reset switch.

In kernel 2.1.125, this occurs too but doesn't lockup the machine (kernels
2.1.126-.129 crash in many other places, so I don't know about them).

Its a PII SMP system w/a PCI NE2K clone. Details on the system are
available at

G'day!
