Here's an Oops in vanilla 2.1.131. It occurred during cron cleanup
and left the affected processes frozen. Later in the day XF86_S3
froze, hard.

Dec 5 06:26:20 localhost kernel: Unable to handle kernel paging request
at virtual address f000ea22
Dec 5 06:26:20 localhost kernel: current->tss.cr3 = 0060d000,
%cr3 = 0060d000
Dec 5 06:26:20 localhost kernel: *pde = 00000000
Dec 5 06:26:20 localhost kernel: Oops: 0000
Dec 5 06:26:20 localhost kernel: CPU: 0

This is UP, a 386 (really a NexGen/AMD PF110), 56M RAM, 96M swap,
Adaptec 2940 (no U, no W), built with egcs-1.1.1. Network was off.

Anybody interested in more details, such as?

Incidentally, I found a corruption in a 6M mail archive written
by Xemacs/vm on 2.1.130; writing again, it came out clean. Spooky.
