Does devfs maintain a list of statistics on devices ?

Hello Richard, I don't currently use devfs so these ?'s

Does devfs keep a list of statistics on devices ?
Does devfs keep a list of statistics per partition of devices ?

What I am after is if the 'sar' thread could use devfs as a
basis or if devfs already has this functionality .
