mozilla+XFree86+Linux-2.1.x => HARD LOCKUP

Hello, All!

This happens again and again.
Mozilla somehow screws X server so that it locks up Linux totally.
All 2.1.x kernels I've tried since 2.1 thread started suffer from this.
Mozilla appears to be the only beast able to make Xserver to screw Linux.
Is it running on localhost or on a remote one makes no difference:
symptoms are quite the same: system completely freezes.
These lockups happen while:
1. Mozilla tries to create (or map?) a transient window (popup or
pulldown menu).
2. Mozilla receives Expose events.
These happen approximately once a week, but sometimes (e.g. today) this shit
happens several times per day.
Of course, there is a bug somewhere in XFree86 X server (S3V one).
Nevertheless, I consider this as an obvious evidence that there is a bug
in Linux kernel: application shouldn't be able to crash the system,
kernel should throw an application away if it tries to do something nasty.

Please investigate it. Thank you.

QingLong.
