i have some trouble with my new dvd-rom sony DDU220E. it's connectet to
the system as master on the second ide-port (hdc). when i boot following
message under 2.1.126 is shown:
hdc: @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ unknown device...
it's not an @ but another strange symbol....
so i can't access cdroms...
for now it's not the big bug, but what happens if i have to install a
complete new linux-system from cd????
any suggestion?
if the net could give me the newer 2.1.129 today i'll try it. but if
there were no atapi/ide-workarounds....
