This one I need some volunteers for :)
There are several changes that I can't easily or fully test
o VIA VP2/VP3/MVP3 board should now report
"Working around ISA DMA bug" as they boot and not lock up
on sound. Since VIA still havent bothered to answer the
requests for info I can't guarantee its a full work around
or I have all the right chipsets in the quirks list.
VIA users please try and break that
o LANCE - I've updated the lance driver to match 2.0.36 updates
as well as the 2.1.x changes. I don't have a lance based card
so if you have one please try this
o NE2000 and 8390 updates.
This adds spinlocks to hopefully fix the SMP problems with stats
getting smashed and multicast list corruption.
I've also added the ne2000 variant reported on the list yesterday
added some missing printk levels and applied the codingstyle rules
to it.
There are a lot of fascinatingly differently buggy and strange
ne2k/8390 clones so please test that as much as possible
