Promise FastTrak (PDC20246) and SMP, not SAFE!!!!

Below is reply back from Promise about their FastTrak RAID 1 (hardware).

Since I am a SMP guy, this news is a setback for adding direct hardware
level RAID 1 for EIDE/UDMA to the kernel............however, the
auto-config pci-timing code is still in the works......

I have good news and bad news. The good news is that we know about this
problem. The bad news is that we haven't been able to fix it yet.

Please fill out the bug report attached to this email. Try to be as thorough
as possible - even if some of the information is included in this email string.
Make sure to attach the filled out bug report to your reply.

I will then submit the report to our engineers and testers. We will attempt to
reproduce your system and the problem. If that can be done, we will try to
come up with a fix. Providing that a fix can be found, we will contact you
with this information.
