SCHED_IDLE, 2.1.128 and multiprocess stuff (was: Re: scheduler , bigpatch for 2.1.128)

I have tried gcc. It doesn't like the fact at all,
it crashes with signal 11 (SEGFAULT)...

I really should be finding out what's the matter
and if GCC is willing to run in SCHED_RR (which
should have the same trouble).

Is there any IPC or signalling guru who knows what
might be going on?
