This tracks well with my experiance. I was having some trouble with CIPE
1.2pre3 not working properly with 2.1.127 so since I have a UP system, I
disabled SMP. This is when I noticed the problem. I also noticed the
problem with 2.1.128, again with SMP disabled. I am now running
pre-2.1.129-1 with SMP disabled and have not yet seen the problem though
it can take 24 hrs or more to see it. BTW, CIPE will not work with .127 or
.128, it has trouble seeing if its tunnel module is loaded, it works fine
with .129pre1.
