My apologies, Alan and others,

I'm just tired of the attitude that glibc2-based distributions are broken,
esp. upgrading to them, when in fact it's the person doing the upgrade
who is "broken". I'm not even running a Redhat-based system anymore, but
I'll defend it against stupid comments like "It's the most broken modern
distribution ever" and "gee, look at all the errata packages, it must truly
be stuffed", when the former is baseless FUD and the latter doesn't take a
clue bus ticket to figure out it's due to the work put in to finding and
fixing security holes in common Linux software.
