I'm not sure what your problem is, as you don't provide enough
information, but I have TWO ne2k clones in my computer, and have no
problem with either of them. I've had RH 4.1, 5.0 and 5.1 on my
system, and will shortly be upgrading to 5.2, with no problems at all.

Here's one possibility though: Is your ne2k clone a PCI card? If so,
the ISA and PCI ne2k drivers are separated in kernel 2.0.34 and later,
which RH 5.1 and 5.2 are based on. As a result, you will need to
replace "modprobe ne" with "modprobe ne-pci" to use the correct
driver...if I've remembered the name correctly...
