parport driver broken in 2.1.127-pre7?

I just upgraded from 2.1.125 to 2.1.127-pre7, and it appears the
parport driver has suffered massive brain damage. When I run it in my
usual mode (irq=7 dma=3), it now corrupts the data sent to the
printer. When run in irq/dma-less mode, it works, but *extremely*
slowly (a small fraction of a page per minute at 600 dpi raster.)

Just wanted to make people aware of this.
