Cdrom.com just serves up static content.. And it's not even possible to
make a Linux compairson because it's FTP server software is custom and
propritary.

Dejanews is a much more difficult task.. Gigs of incoming.. Millions of
searches.. indexing... little web files causing thousands of tcp
connections..
