As I noticed in another email, the ppp works if I don't use the chat
program, but a normal terminal program (as minicom) then start the pppd.
Then I think there is no problem on modem or serial card, maybe there is
a problem about interaction between chat and pppd.
Now I'm at work and I haven't the pppd log, in the weekend I'll post the
log in order to make clear this annoying situation.
