could someone clarify this please ? as far as I've understood,
performance
1. 4k pages 100
2. 4M pages 100+delta
3. 4M+global around 115

I thought the only difference between 2 and 3, with respect to 1, was that
case 2 would incur _one_ extra tlb miss for the 4M page whenever X was
switched in. how can this alone produce such a large difference ?
