that last patch just covered up some minor brain death. if you want
the simpler, more correct patch, try the following instead:
<ftp://ftp.u.washington.edu/public/asun/hfs_fs-2.1.125-2.diff.gz>
it should apply to 2.1.125 and 2.1.126. anyone who can crash it wins
