Multi-processor and Klogd?

Hi,

I just recently setup a linux box on a dual P166 with a tyan tomcat mb.
I just compiled and booted on kernel 2.1.125 and things seemed to be ok.
But today, I noticed my up time at at 1.50 and klogd was utilizing 98% of
my cpu.
44 root 16 0 612 612 232 R 0 98.8 0.4 305:51 klogd

I noticed a reference elsewhere about a race condition with syslogd and
klogd (rc.inet2) on SMP motherboards. I'm wondering if I'm running across
a related problem though I don't believe my motherboard is SMP. I've
pasted some boot up stuff if it helps. I appreciate the help, though
please reply to my email as I no longer subscribe to the list, and may
miss it in the archives. Thanks

tca
