I got an AIC7890 scsi-adaptor, and have installed a Redhat Linux-kernel
that supported my scsi-adaptor. But now the following error is beeing
printed again and again when booting (with about 7-8 seconds appart).
The first errormessage comes just after the system has "downloaded 407
instructions". First time it prints:
(scsi0) BRKADRINT error (0x10)
Data-Path Ram Parity Error
(scsi0) SEQADDR=0x17d
After that the last line is changed to:
(scsi0) SEQADDR=0x01
and the message is printed again and again with 7-8 seconds appart.
The spooky thing is, that the error only comes sometimes. Can it be
win95 that left the harddisk or scsi-adaptor in a way the linux-kernel
does not support?
Please help me! I'm desperate! Where can I find information???
