EXT2 fs corruption in 2.1.125

Everything seemed normal .. The suddenly 'man' failed because one of the
groff files had a syntax error.

When I looked into the file it seemed that the first block of the file
(which I've not written to since I installed the system) had been
overwritten with random data. The rest of the file was apparantly ok.

This and similar has happened on several files since I upgraded from
2.0.35 -> 2.1.125, before that everything was working 100%. No error
messages, no oopses, just file corruption.

I have the VIA IDE controller, and the disk is an IBM 10.4GB with UDMA.

Yours sincerely,
