I found the bug and fixed it earlier today. Unfortunately
that patch _does_ introduce a new bug, but that only shows
up when you try to promote a SCHED_IDLE process to SCHED_OTHER.

The error was in reschedule_idle() not checking for
current->policy == SCHED_IDLE...
