2.1.125 is hanging at 'Loading' not even 1 dot! =(.

Details:
Single PII 266 on Dual Proc ASUS MB
1 Adaptec 2940UW w/2 4gig IBM Wide SCSI Drives
Matrox.

Kernel:
2.1.125
+ devfs r67 (v47)
+ matrox frame buffer driver patch
gcc 2.8.1
Redhat-v5.1 (With 90% of Errata updates.)
