Linus has always maintained, and the community has always understood,
either implicitly or explicitly, that when it comes to the kernel, the
buck stops with him. If he can't keep up with either the volume or the
quality of patches, then we have to figure out how to improve the system
that feeds him patches. We can begin by asking him to clarify what he
expects. In the meantime, smaller, better documented patches will
probably get looked at sooner.

Anything else is rubbish.
